The Company installs prefabricated chimney systems in residential and commercial buildings in the New York City Metropolitan area. Our valuation was used for divorce proceedings. Our valuation report was pivotal in reaching a settlement prior to trial.
ESOP Valuation - Construction & Farm Equipment Dealer - Hudson, NY
Client is a 2nd generation dealer of heavy construction and farm equipment with two locations. One family member owning 1/3 of the company wished to retire. The company formed an ESOP trust which in turn bought the 1/3 shares. ACR performed a valuation to determine the price at which the shares should be purchased by the ESOP trust.
IRS/Asset Valuation - Hedge Fund, Baltimore, MD
Client is a hedge fund which invested $5 million into a publicly traded company that sold proprietary devices and equipment for diagnostic testing of blood clot formation and dissolution. The publicly traded company subsequently became insolvent and declared bankruptcy. ACR valued the company's patent portfolio, the results of which were used by our Client for IRS and financial reporting purposes.
